Question Eastern NC

Is there anyone here that lives in Eastern NC? I'm new to the hobby and would like to buy some equipment and live goods.

I live in Greenville right now but would be willing to travel!

I'm in greenville too, I agree, don't buy anything at pets +....way over priced and not a good selection. Unfortunately the best stores are a good drive away.

Question Got Macro or Chaeto?

We have Animal Jungle here. Okay, but I have bought two bad(diseased) clowns from them in the past. I hear Bills in Newbern is the best store around here. I went to Animal Jungle in Va Beach and it was awsome! Best selection of everything I have ever seen.

Help! Need macro for the new refugium. Can anyone help?

Anything that works. My Nitrates are staying high. I cut down on feeding and did frequent water changes but they are still on the rise so I made a little fuge.

When you do your water change do you add anything to the water your are putting in your tank... If not try adding some Prime to your water. I live by that stuff it works wonders..

im not sure on bills in newbern, but bills in havelock and morehead city are the worst. I lost every fish I had because of bills in havelock....

My cousin in va beach also said animal jungle up there is the best.

Animal Jungle in VA Beach does have an awsome selection of sw fish and now corals. Their lr isn't very fresh though (I have about 10lbs. of Totanka). They usually get their shipments in on Wed or Thurs. so if you go try to schedule for Friday or Sat. The big guy w/ the long curly hair that runs the fish department is pretty knowledgable and not pushy. I usually go up there about once a week to pick up some odds and ends (it's only an hour from me).
