OMG! Broken Center Brace on 46 bow!
How serious is this? Should I go find a replacement tank now while this thing is still together?

order a new rim from your pet shop. it is simple to replace. I have no experience with a broken strap on a bow- on a rectangular tank its not a big issue- usually. until that POP........ your problem is with the front already curved, you can`t see the divergence that you could on a flat panel. One way or another you are going to need to do something sooner rather than later.

Weld-on glue. Put some on either side of the seperation, clamp the tank. This stuff melts the plastic and then fuses it together. You glue a piece above of below for added support. Either way it should be done sooner than later.

Okay guys, well thanks for all of your input, but I've bought a new tank due to this little mishap. I'm going to order the frame piece from AGA from work and repair it when the tank is empty and use it as a frag tank. I've gotta couple extra halide ballasts laying around and stuff.
BTW I can get the frame for $11.53 with my employee discount. ReefTECK's New 75 Gallon Reef Thread
