Attention NFMAS Forum Users-Please Read

The NFMAS forum has recently been a problem area on Reef Central due to the actions of a small number of members and LFS. These problems include but are not limited to, commercial posts, trashing vendors, and making posts to promote or denigrate local vendors while pretending to be unbiased third parties.

I'll recommend people review the User Agreement, specifically this part,

"Reef Central defines “commercial post� as knowing and willful posts made by private individuals or businesses, directly or indirectly seeking commerce. Additionally, posts made by individuals or businesses in regard to other commercial activities, in anticipation of direct or indirect economic benefit or relief from the subject activity, will generally be regarded as “commercial.� Recognizing that it is impossible to construct a definition which will satisfy every situation or circumstance, Reef Central reserves the right to determine whether or not a post violates the “intent� of the “commercial post� policy or definition. Violation of this policy will be grounds for removal from our community."

Generally more latitude is allowed in the club forums based on the desire of the club members. After receiving input from several members there will be no exceptions to the letter or the spirit of the UA. Commercial posts in violation of the UA will result in termination of posting privileges without exception.

This decision is not meant to stifle communication or prevent customers from posting their experiences. Rather it's meant to assure the communications are honest and useful to NFMAS members.
