ID please
last night I found a new hitchhiker in my tank and I have no idea what it is. its definitly a worm of some type, its a tan/cream color about 4-5 inches long and looks just like a centipede and the head is like a pencil eraser with 2 little black eyes. Thats about all I could see of it.
I took a pic but I cant find the cable to plug into my computer so that will come later. thanks |

Was he fast like lightning when you tried to catch him?
Here's a good place to look for a comparison: http://home2.pacific.net.ph/%7Esweet...itchworms.html

I think its this one
The Lumbrinerids - They are primarily soft bottom inhabitants, but can occur on hard substrates. Some construct mucus tubes. They have a well-developed jaw apparatus suitable for grasping food material. Most of them are predaceous carnivores or scavengers. are they reef safe???? |
