12G Aquapod w/70W halide SPS/LPS

Here are a couple pics of my 12 gallon Aquapod that sits next to my desk at work. It is mostly SPS/LPS & zoos but I have a couple softies that I am going to be getting rid of soon. The tank has been set up for about 3 months now. Most of the stuff came from my old 3 gallon pico which was up for about 2 years. I upgraded because I was running out of room.

Upgrades:
  • sapphire skimmer in the first chamber in the back.
  • koralia 1
  • maxijet 900 upgrade for the return pump
  • u shaped spray bar/rock stand powered by a maxijet 1200
  • 70w halide in the stock hood
  • 4 fans to keep the temp down - 2 cooling the lights and 2 in the front with 1 pulling air out and 1 pushing air in.
  • blocked off the 2 lower intakes for better surface skimming

Here is a full tank shot:

This is a montipora that I bought a while back that I had never seen before. It is an orangish-gold base with orange polyps that have electric blue tips. Anyone have an ID on this?

The current residents are:
  • 1 black ORA clown
  • 1 high fin goby
  • 1 sexy shrimp
  • asst. CUC

SPS:
  • sunset montipora
  • montipora pictured above
  • blue polyped monti danae
  • oregon tort
  • cali tort
  • red monti cap
  • green monti cap
  • green monti cap w/ purple rim
  • bali tri-color
  • peach colored acro
  • pink birdsnest
  • green/blue acro
  • superman montipora digitata
  • montipora undata that I saved from a red slime algae outbreak (not doing so hot right now)
  • purple tipped yellow acro
LPS
  • frogspawn
  • candy cane
  • 2 types of acan lords
zoos/palys
  • fire in the sky
  • lunar eclipse
  • tubs blue
  • green w/orange rim
  • pink w/green mouth
  • eagle eye
  • green button polyps
softies
  • green ricordia
  • GSP
  • xenia

It looks like I have red bugs on a couple of my frags. They are still growing well, but I think I will try to get my hands on some interceptor this weekend and treat them.

Also, I am going to add a SSB to the tank in the next couple weeks as well. My high fin goby is going to get a pistol shrimp buddy soon and I want them to be able to create burrows.
