Buyer beware of Sawcjack00

He sold me 2 x one month old Aquamedic 20k DE. But when I got them they look black in the center. I would say they are at least 10 months old. I pmed him and he didn't response.

Huy I got your PM and have responded. You are completely wrong, and I am highly offended that you question my integrity. My reputation on this board and others is excellent. Those bulbs were run for one month 6 hrs per day. They were exactly as advertised, and you got an excellent deal on them at $100 including shipping for 2 bulbs that go for $90 each new + shipping.

Well, I thought, for the momment, I did got a pretty darn good deal. But they look black at the center portion when I got them. Comparatively, I am running the same bulb, although it's 10k, for 2 months and they still look brand new.

I've got a brand new Reeflux 10K that came brown in the center. You can't tell how long a bulb has been used by the color of the inside IMO.

I have had bulbs blacken heavily on their first firing with a magnetic ballast. I also have diferent levels of blackening on 3 reeflux bulbs using electronic ballasts all run identical times.

True..I have many bulbs that were used for weeks and they are black in the middle. Depends on bulb type, ballast, time used, many variables.

Well, I guess I'm wrong. I don't know much about it. I just compare to my current AB 250W DE 10k bulbs. They've been running for 2 months and look brand new. I will take on everybody's words for it. I am sincerely apologize to Sawcjack00. Please except my apology.
