Thank you all once again for the kind birthday wishes.

We spent the afternoon at Emily's college graduation (she's a special ed teacher) and returned home to a wonderful dinner at our favorite restaurant. It was a great day.

Only at UND in Grand Forks, North Dakota does a college graduate pose outdoors for photos in -35 below zero wind chill temps!

What better birthday present than that kind of smile?

Many more.

I think I've figured it out...I'll await my superb suture job the next time I'm in your neck of the woods and did something I shouldn't have done that left me with a flesh wound...

1) A great day with the graduation (your daughter looks bootiful, btw)
2) A great dinner at your favorite restaraunt

and the "trifecta" part of the evening
3) The lights dim...soft music is playing from your awesome stereo equipment with the overpriced wires...you start getting "frisky" with the wife...see where this is going?

Which, of course, leads to what virtually every man hears whenever they're thinking this..."Honey, I have a headache!"
