And just as emerald said and many others have you overlook a team like Hawaii (Boise St. last year) and no matter who you are you can/will be beat. The SEC is beatable no matter what you may think.
Cough, cough. I was at that game and for the record WVU was the fastest team i have ever seen, they shocked us and jumped out to a very quick lead. But when we did start to play there was no way they were going to stop us. Only if there were 20 mins a quarter it would have been over for them. But we lost and still kept our pride. Hawaii is no where near the team that WVU was that year. This will be Hawaii's toughest game of the year and this will rank us with playing a team like Ole Miss.

I will openly agree that Hawaii isnt the WVU you played prior and I will also say the UGA team this year is much better then that UGA team, but you also proved my point you all were not ready for WVUs speed, it was overlooked, and by the time you caught on it was to late for you all to overcome. Alls it takes is a team not going in motivated or not ready for a specific facet of the game and the game could be over before you know it.

Are you kidding? UGA two years ago was definately a better team than this year. UGA had Pope, Shockley and some nasty running backs. Even rug would agree on this.

I would rather pick Illinois over USC than Hawaii over UGA.

Got a rational reason behind it?

Silly me, asking an SEC fanboy to use rational thought

You and your disgust for the SEC. Don't be jealous.

Want to make some sort of RC bet that UGA beats Hawaii? I already lost an avatar bet with Rug so you think of something.

You mean you finally slithered out of your hole and paid off your bet? Only took you what, 6 weeks?

Oh, thats right. You were away when the travisty came down

I figure Georgia feels like they got kicked in the teeth by the way they were skipped over for the National Championship game. Good chance they could come out flat and not up for the game. If that happens Hawaii could build a big enough lead by halftime that by the time Georgia wakes up it will be too late for a come back.

Of course they could come out like they have something to prove and win by 70

Never know about these things, it could go either way.

I love how Anemone's only reason to participate in this thread is to call Rug and me out.

Glad to see that I am not the only one not picking any upsets in the BCS games. I will also openly admit that I am obviously a huge VT fan and recognize that our game is the least attractive

K well by your response I guess your saying that us beating Kansas is your upset pick...to me not an upset since we are favored (obviously if I am taking your response out of context then my above statement is null and void).

Out of curiosity, assuming I am reading your statement correctly, how do you figure us beating Kansas would be considered an upset?

I don't think VT beating Kansas is an upset. I favor VT in that game.

I still aint putting money one way or another on a lot of games. Not so sure the conferences arent pretty equal. Yeah in theory Georgia and USC are getting off easy but the rest of those could end up being a lot better games than people think.
