Lets see, Georgia has lost to unranked South Carolina and Tennessee who has three losses and Az State lost to Oregon who was widely held as the first or second best team in the nation by the experts before Dixon went down. Yeah, Georgia is Clearly a better team

Georgia plays in a tougher conference. You're implying if Arizona St. played UGA they would win handsdown. Oh, Arizona St. is going to lose to USC tonight who has lost to Stanford if you want to play that argument.

Sorry Grim you're no more convincing than Rug on his bad days.

I know if the SEC was a guy youd need to break out the kn....Never mind.

Get real. Are you implying if Georgia played ASU they would win hands down? Tougher conference LMWWAO!!! Not this year my friend. Lets see what happens once the bowl games come.

I figured SC would win too. With the talent they have they can't keep playing like crap forever.

I didn't expect that solid of a game out of them. Lot of talent there, maybe they are finally all on the same page

I am in the odd position of hoping SC doesn't get the rose bowl game. They play OSU next year regular season. I figure both teams are returning the bulk of their talent so we can see how they match up. I am hoping one of the SEC teams will be dumb, I mean brave enough to accept a bowl game against them or one of the other Pac teams. Unfortunatly without Dixon or Steward I am not sure oregon can win another game this year so it will probably be SC in the Rose Bowl.

I'm still foolishly holding out on that NC game...

We know one of the 2 Big 12 teams is going down, Maybe Both!

LSU could go down I think, by Ar-Kansas or hopefully Gerogia in the SEC title and not Tenn.

Just wish that damn Big East WV wasnt in the way... Tho I wouldnt mind playing them for a title.

I cant see Oregon winning out without Dixon...

So if it comes down to OSU and SC in Pasadena, I'll be honest, I dont know how much we've got for that team we watched play lastnight... That was some of the best ball I've seen all year. But like you said, with us playing the next two seasons, I'd rather play someone else in a bowl. I thought OSU and Az St. would have been a nice match up.

The way LSU is playing there is an excellent chance they will lose to Tennessee or Georgia either one. They look to have contracted USC-itis.

Grim: LSU might even lose to Arkansas...

and I agree with you, since USC/OSU play each other (as one of the notoriously weak out-of-conference games OSU is known for on this board) the next two years, the Rose Bowl match up wouldn't be as intriguing.

I am not implying Georgia would win hands down. Obviously it would be a very good game to watch but Georgia would roughly win 6 out of 10 games played against ASU.. Yes, SEC is a tougher conference. It may be an opinion but its also the opinion of many others too.

PAC 10 teams that are ranked:
Oregon
USC
Arizona State

SEC teams that are ranked:
LSU
Georgia
Florida
Tennessee
Auburn

So the SEC has five ranked teams over PAC 10's three. SEC runs deeper too. SEC has Alabama, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Arkansas who have all been ranked at some point too. South Carolina and Kentucky made their way in the top 10 also. The PAC 10 doesn't run deep at all. I believe the PAC 10 has only had CAL and UCLA. UCLA was ranked from the beginning but got out of the rankings rather quickly and considering they lost to ND I don't really count them. So Grim, you tell me, who is the tougher conference? If you think your PAC 10 boys are than I will be at a loss of words.

Auburn isn't rated in the BCS so its 4 to 3. Of course the big 12 has 4 ranked teams and 3 of those are in the top 10 so they must be a much better conference than the SEC right? ACC does too

Arkansas had a shot but couldn't put them away. Looks like LSU will have Mo to end the game.

Good thing the BCS will let us know definitively who's #1 and #2 in a couple weeks

So which of those teams are going to be representing the "all mighty" SEC in the BCS National Championship game?

Like I said, our conference runs deep. That is not a good thing for a SEC trying to win the NC title. SEC NC teams like FLA last year has to get some type of lucky play to carry out. FLA got three blocked kicks against South Carolina last year to save their season. LSU just couldn't stop the run. What can I say?

Grim, Auburn is rated number 25 in the BCS poll so I stand correct, its 5.

Auburn isn't rated in the BCS, it's 4

How bout the game Ali Highsmith put in, That guy just made him a lot of money even in the loss. McFadden may be back in the Heismann hunt too.
