good or bad
is the red sea prizm skimmer a good product ar is it a waste of money my tank is 100g and has 10kg live rock so far the tank has been setup for 1 week.

IMO junk, I would check out the Das, or octopus skimmer for a good cheap skimmer.

A cheap but very well working skimmer to look at would be the Corallife Super skimmers. They can be used as an in sump or HOB skimmer.

I have one in my 50 Gallons... and i have to say...
They're very NOISY!, It's a pain to get the skimmer to work properly and even when is working properly perfomance is not great... Only pro is that is cheap and its ok if you have low stock and plans to upgrade in the future... Pablo |

I second the Octopus. It is an AMAZING skimmer for the price. I hated my coralife super skimmer. That thing was a pain.
