Marina, that some flake and crush it up in a little water. You can easily get it as small as the rots and easily get an in between size too. Just keep it really lite, a little goes a long ways.

Scott, don't count on it. The skunk is going to get big, keep in mind it is relitive and not comparable to a normal pairing. Something that might help is limit the hiding places to one and show them pictures of lion fish.

Howdy John.

No doubt, on the pairing scenarios, but what an expense in space I think they might get better aquantited in less then 8'. These kids are suckin' up my best rare pairing area and they are trying to kill each other :P fwiw: I divided the tank and they are cramped.....we shall see.

Truth be told, this black chrys female is absolutetly the most primo specimen I have ever seen and if she needs 300g then she is going to get it

PS: Pass on to Marina that I will trade her Black chrys and a juvie 'gaster for "Barney"

I have had good luck with Golden Pearls from brineshrimpdirect.com. They make it in several sizes including rotifer and newly hatch brineshrimp sizes.

Thanks for the tips, guys.

I offered them liquid and frozen crushed cpeeze, they did this - - to me and swam away in disgust. Added L strain and the party is going strong. Ok, next stop is OSI Spirulina. I will try golden pearls with the next batch, Phil. The female ate very little today, so I am hoping for a nest either tonight or tomorrow.

Wow, that's awesome! When was metamorphosis, ~14 days? Head shape, mouth, etc all look great. Congrats!

How many have made it so far? Didn't you start with a fairly small number?

Marina: Congrats!!!!! Not only did you get them to breed, raise the first batch but there does not appear to be any deformities. Awesome. How many are left?

Well, thank you

That must be the ultimate compliment from a fellow breeder.

Nah, I am not that good, it's that "bottled magic" the rest of the gang keeps referring to
