I haven't read through all the the posts, but the LFS I frequent in Nuremberg, Germany is excellent. They don't sell any equipment and only have a handful of food products and test kits (salifert only), but they have a huge and constantly changing selection of livestock. They publish a 6-page .PDF document of their entire inventory every week and post it on their webpage.
The corals are always strong healthy looking and they always have a decent selection to choose from. For example, they always have at least one hundred pieces of acropora ranging in size from 3 inches (at the base of the coral) on up to 7 inches plus. Their prices aren't cheap, but the quality of livestock and their knowledge is exceptional. |

wow... that is an exceptional store you have there.... paying mark-up for a better product was never a problem for me. I think I do the same exact thing you just infered(sp)... you are willing to pay for the high selection, knowledge base and health of the livestock. I have never been to Nuremberg... how many fish stores are there in the city do you know?
