Lightbulb Lighting

Hello all, i`m a DIY nut and what i did was take a ballast system from and old 175w ,2 ballast case and swapped out the 175w ballasts for 2 Advance 250w MV ballasts. I also bought a 3rd 250W ballast and put it in it`s own case. These 3 new ballasts will run 3 250w Iwasaki 65k bulbs.
After, i bought 2 three foot spiderlight reflectors and built a simple 1x4 pine wood frame around it. I stripped an old CSL hood, of it`s 4 three foot 96W PC bulbs, sockets and ballasts and added THEM to the this new canopy. I`m now the proud owner of a 1134w light canopy .
Unfortunately , during the test phase, i butter-fingered one of the PC daylight bulbs and it broke. They were 2 daylights and 2, 7100k blues. So, i plan on replacing both the daylight bulbs with those new 6500K "True actinic03 " 96w PCs. Now CSL claims that though the new "true actinic03s" are not as bright as the PC 7100k blues but, that the true actinic03s give off much more of the UV that the corals need to grow.
I have always used a plexie shield in my light canopys. My question is, will using this shield, ruduce or null the effectiveness of these PC True Actinic03s as compaired to the 7100K blues .

Thanx
Tony
