UH OH ..leak

i found a bulkhead leak today. my overflow bulkhead is leaking around the threads. would just giving it a tighter tweak fix it, or do i have to remove and redo it?

be careful do not crack the glass. It might just be the gasket shrinking from the colder temps. Give it a tiny turn. be prepared to redo it though. make sure you have supplies. LMK if you need help.

i would think a tighter tweak should fix it but that depends on how tight it is already. also, was the hole cut to the right size or was it a little bigger than it should be? i had a similar problem and couldn't figure it out. so, i used silicone around the whole bulkhead and the leak was gone. not the prettiest thing but it was for a frag tank so it didn't matter.

i cut the correct size and siliconed it when i put it in place.
i am afraid to touch it today or tommorow, in case i have a REAL problem then. right now its just a drop, but i can see with the amount of salt around that it has been leaking recently. Jay your help would be appreciated , hopefully then i won't do anything stupid.
