Rabbitfish

Anyone have an algae problem or just thinking about a rabbitfish, check the new fish selection at the doctors, yellow blotch rabbitfish, blue with orange spots and a yellow blotch. This even nicer looking than my yellow spot. If I could just catch my lazy foxface.

The yellow blotch rabbitfish is a horrible addition to most hobbyist size reef tanks. Unlike the better suited foxface, virgate, or doliatus rabbitfish, this guy can get almost 1.5 feet long! I have personally raised this fish in a large aquarium (~1200 gallons) and have seen it grow from about 3 inches to 6 inches in only a year, much faster grower than the smaller rabbitfish. Not a good candidate for the small hobby tanks, will outgrow a 150 gallon within about 2 years if kept healthy.
