Got this rock a couple of months ago from a fellow CMAS member. Could this be some kind of sponge?

Orange tank syndrome, matter of time......................

it has never grown on an "open" surface in my tank. Always on the under side of the rocks or behind the rock wall.

The only in tank treatment for orange tank syndrome is Vodka dosing...............
