I'm going to be a daddy

Wow those are the scariest words you can tell a guy. I gained 10 new gray hairs before Jen finished the sentence. Its the combination of the ultimate fear and the happiest moment all in one. And Jen thinks what she's got is morning sickness. I haven't slep since she told me.

Oh happy day.

That's great news Al!!

Theres only one thing you have to do. Every new kid in the Reef Club is just going to have to have a new Fish tank.... Like maybe that 200 gallon one sitting out back , empty. You will just have to set it up in the nursery room.. Its a DRC law, or something!

Congrats Al!! And congrats to the wife as well!! Sleepless nights await! And now they will not be the result of watching the tank in the dark looking for a new never seen before creature! It truly is great news for you and your wife!

I think there is a mention in the new DRC bylaws that all junior DRC members must have a minimum of a nano cube in their room.

Congrats man, babies are cool, they smell really bad most of the time, but they're still cool.

Now for the important stuff..... explain t Jen you're setting up a new frag tank so you can grow your own to trade for diapers and onesies.

DO NOT even menton the word formula. Go out and buy her every book touting the virtues of nursing.
My wife nursed both our kids...I never once had to get up in the middle of the night

But really, good for you guys, I'll have to break out the new X-mas beer mugs and we can celebrate

Man you can tell your still single.
When you are single you think you'll be the boss, When you get married you tell your friends your still the boss. After you come to your senses you realize the leash is too short, you ask the boss for more leash. AL

EDIT: Usually when you ask for more leash there is a quick jerking motion followed by a stern "NO"

Haha, Yep, I am single. Not for long, but I am going to make sure I am still the boss, otherwise I'll still be single! The tank will never go though, same with cars and bikes. If I can't afford to have both, I'll wait on the kid, lol.
