I like it too. May give it a try. What light do you have on the system?

may i suggest using your left over eggcrate and build a little 2 square high fence around the whole thing
i have had the same set up for a long time and stupid snails were always knocking frags down
so i built a fence with zip ties and no more probs

Great minds think alike! I made a similar rack solely out of eggcrate with walls to prevent the snails from knocking things over. This is an old picture since I now have one on both sides of the tank.

***UPDATE***
Im now farming blue xenia on my shelf, pics will come soon. I also am having alot of luck attaching mushrooms to rock on my shelf, ill take pics of that also.
Also all my zoo's are growing onto the pvc, its very cool looking now :} they even grow on the bottom so if you look from the bottom you can see its covered with zoos!

JediReefer------>> yes, just ask for hot water pvc, or cpvc

skeeter-doc---->> about 9+ months now, i feed my tank plankton at nighttime when all the hard corals are feeding... its beem a very successful technique.. i have 3 different species of apples.. i just need a royal apple (not gonna happen lol)

DurTBear------->> now i know why you did this, its really annoying for animals to knock stuff down, i think im just gonna buy a seperate frag tank and use that, that way i can remove this from my display

here is an idea. Take an extra pump and plumb the pvc and drill holes in the holder and now you have current all around the frags.
