What does the term "BUMP" mean, i see it everywhere on RC ?

Same as ttt or "to the top", it moves the thread back up to the top of the list.

Threads that aren't on the first page tend to get lost and not get as many replies. It just gets more people to see them. It can get annoying if someone keeps bumping the same thread again and again.

Yes, and ones selling often do that, myself included. The others that do it are ones who ask a question in a way that is unanswerable, ie. they already know what they want to hear but are looking for the world to confirm it.
