would a coralife aqualight pc double linear strip be sufficient for growing lords and trachphyllias?

probably, but the depth of the tank its on is the biggest issue; remember, your trachs are going to be on the sand and PCs don't seem to penetrate that deep into the water.

What size tank? Why pc? imho pc are old school you can get t5 for the same kind of money have bulbs that last twice as long more energy efficient and a much higher par rating

I agree with oldreefer. I had PCs like 5 years ago when they were the best alternative to MHs. But after switching to MH and seeing some results others have with T5s, PCs are likely to go the way of VHOs.

pcs kept my corals alive, but they never really had good coloration, nor did they grow except for the star polyps. T5s are in a class so far above. go for T5s even if its less watts.
