Question juvenile half/half wrasse????

I recently purchased a wrasse from a LFS that was sold as a "half and half wrasse" (hemigymnus melapterus). However, the fish I bought does NOT look like any of the pics I have found on the net of said fish.

My fish is approximately 2.25 inches long with the same body shape as a 6 line. It's tail is a golden yellow; the body, from tail to pectoral fins, is a chocolate brown; its pectoral region is white and it's head is a pale greenish white color. I'll try to post a pic later this evening.

He quickly adapted to the tank, ate frozen mysis shrimp and picks at the live rock while he swims around (active little bugger.)

If anyone has any ideas (Is this a juvenile melapterus, cleaner or different species?) I'd appreciate the feedback.
