Epoxy expires?
I bought a gallon of Aquatic Eco-Systems' white epoxy a couple of years ago. I mixed up a VERY small amount (about 1 cup) a little over a year ago, resealed the containers, and they've sat, closed, in my garage ever since. I'm now needing to use it, but I see that it has an expiration date of 03/07 on the large can. Is this just a case of the manufacturer not wanting someone to come back 10 years after purchase stating that the 10 year old epoxy failed or does it really expire?
This will be for a snake enclosure, so it doesn't have to be 100% watertight. However, I don't want to mix and start painting if it's truly bad.

Epoxy will go bad. What happens most of the time in my experence is that it will start setting up before you mix it. So I would agree with roncgizmo, mix up a little and see if it works, if it does your good to go.
