oil airfreshener???
my wife bought this air freshener. its oil that sits in a bowl above a small candle. my living room dinnette and kitchen are all one room. it is in the kitchen my tank is in the living room about thirty feet away from the candle thing. is t ok to burn it there? i havent let her yet i wanted to make sure first. thanks fr any help anybody has.

Depending on what she burns I would think it should be OK.
Unless you are keeping a mantis shrimp. They can be pretty succeptible to things in the air.

I do a certain amount of paint work- and the two things that mess a room up more than anything is scented candles and ceiling fans. In these rooms where they are used there is usually a dark ring around the room in the carpet, and another buildup area around the rim of the ceiling. It can be so bad that paint will just bead on it. I only say this to point out anything burned or heated ends up somewhere-if you can smell it so can everything else. I doubt it will be a problem though- a good carbon in the tank- having tank covered, and making sure you have clean air going into your skimmer you should be fine. I would keep a eye on the skimmer- if it shuts down or speeds up I would drop the oil heating.
