running ozone in quarantine

Hi guys,

I plan to have a quarantine setup for all incoming sps corals. With all the recent reports of pathogenic diseases in our tanks, would it be a good idea to run ozone in the quarantine? I see a lot of quarantine setups, but I don't see many people that run ozone in their quarantines.

Ozone will only help the water quality not kill parasites. Are you sure you are not talking about UV? Ozone will polish the water real nice but make sure you have carbon at the return end.

I think running ozone and a uv in Quarantine would be ideal right? I thought I read that ozone will kill bacteria as well int he water.
