Brain coral sick... egg sacks on it too

Hello Guys,

I've had a brain coral in the tank for about a month and everything was fine with it until about 4 days ago. It's not expanding during the day anymore and i've notived all these eggs sacks on it. They are small and look almost like the egg sacks snails leave. I've had a flatworm (small flatworms) problem in the tank for about a 5 weeks but , thought they would not attack the coral. I'm not sure if the flatworms are doing this to the brain or something else is.

Please help, what can i do ? ? ? ? ?

hmmm... i doubt egg sacs would be on the brain itself. perhaps the "eggsacs" are actually feeder tentacles?

They aren't the feeder tentacles., at least not like the one it puts out at night. I actually found a clump of them on the bottom of the brain coral when i took it out of the tank to clean off the “eggs. I'm not sure if they are egg masses now though. The brain put out some of these " egg masses" out of one of its mouths and it stuck to the coral. I had a heck of a time taking the eggs( or whatever they are) off the brain. Has anyone seen this before ?

Can I do a freshwater dip on a brain coral ?

keep the "egg sacs" on the off chance that they are some kind of off spring, so if they are the coral moight be doomed but then you could have some cool babies, but thats a small chance.
