do indo lords color up?

i have had this guy for a while and he seems to be getting more intense. do the indo lords color up cause i thought they did not.

They sure do. Some could take a year to get to full color while others came in looking killer nice.

They might change in different color that depend on the light & water....send me some I will post the picture later for you to compare the color..

this is my red and gray acan and its the same color as i got it but the new growth is more green than gray.

that looks just like the ones i posted. if they are they are going to be sweet.not that they are not nice now though.

The coral Shane posted and the first one Vpham posted are from the same mother colony. They can change drastically, depending on the lighting they are kept under.

Here's one of my versions of that same coral back in January 05.



The piece that you posted in your first post looks a lot like an acan I've had for a few years.

March 2005




This coral has changed a lot on me. If I keep it in lower light, it looses the vibrant red color. It still keeps the green center, but the green does not jump out at you.

The 3 pics I posted where from a time I was blasting it with light and it started to develop some purple in the polyps. It was really hard to capture it with the camera and those pic's were my best attempts.

Here is that same red and green Acan in December 2004 under blue pc lighting. The color looked electric. I wish it looked like that under my halides.

that is what i have noticed with the one i have it has purple starting to show in the ring around the center.

IMO any coral is capable of coloring up or losing color
