And This One Is A(N)...?
This has been incorrectly labeled in my website for years now but I can't seem to get a consensus as to a true ID. I say Acanthastrea, others say no. Any consensus here? Thanks in advance.

That's a tough one, Michael. I'd say it's not Acanthastrea, but as to what it is, I'd say some type of chalice, perhaps Echinopora?? Do you have any other photos?
BTW, nice to see another SPS forum guy over here on the dark side

Nice to see you over here Ivy. I'd say it looks like a coral we've been calling Echinophyllia. I have one very similar to it, and at night it get's sweeper tentacles.
I got it a two small frags glued onto this rock and it has grown very well for me. The two pieces have fused together now. It has the same green skirt around the perimeter like yours. This is an older pic from January.

Seems like Echinophyllia aspera it is. Thanks, guys. But just in case, here are a few recent shots of the piece today from various distances.
By the way, the 'incorrect' identification on the website then was actually correct! Now I think I may have misidentified a couple of companion pieces.

RandyO/Ivy, nice pieces!
RandyO, I'd be curious to see if the two separate pieces grow together or if one just grows over the other. I had an echino just kinda grow over the other and not fuse.
