180g tank

I was looking into getting a 180g tank from glasscages.com and was wondering how many overflows would be necessary in order to get the proper turn over??

Thanx in advance ~George~

I suggest 2 oveflows should do the job. Put 1 in each corner and run pvc and connected both to the sump. Make sure your sump is big enough. At least 60 gal sump.

We run 2 1 1/4" Durso's in a center low profile overflow in our 180. Iwaki 100 with 4 penductors for flow. The Durso's handle the 2000gph no problem, it's the teeth in the overflow that don't let enough water flow. We are also using a 36" 40 gal sump so that we have room for the MH ballasts, calcium reactor w/ CO2 bottle and kalk reactor under the stand. No problems with back siphon.
