sorry to the fans in England... history repeats itself... but will not be the case for Brazil...

(and Beckham didn't get a chance to do any free/corner/penalty kick this time)

Although I doubt many understand that, you are right on with that comment, although Rooney deserves a good kicking for his stupidity. We didn't lose that game, the Portugese goalkeeper won it for them, he is damn good.

So, not having the attitude of some on here, I will watch the next game, and I will be rooting for Germany from now on, I think the others do not deserve to win with their attitudes to the game.

France must've been saving their good play for now...tough break for Brasil, most of those players will be back in 4 years though..

Agree about France, IMO that was the best any team have played in the whole tournament

ESPN is running the result too ....***Why would they show the final score when they are putting the game on tonight on tape delay? That makes no sense

anyone but the bloody Germans. I would like to see the Italians to win it as they are problably the under dogs now.

I think England defeated themselves. They had 2-3 excellent chances and did not capatilize. They should have left Beckham on. He was the only one in midfield that day playing. Lampard hit a drought the wrong time of the season.

The future is bright for us Limey's We have some real good youngsters coming through. Good luck to the rest of the teams in the competition still!

Italy is going to lay the smack down. Even though I think the best player in the world is Zidane. His touches last game were very impressive.

A little bit off topic, but still, who is your favourite fan of the match as posted on FIFA's website?
