Thanks for the tip on shots taken from above. Never heard of that trick before but it will be used next time for sure.

It is Maxima and Squamosa.
I think the maxima need to be move because it will soon be shaded by the Montipora. When place clams on coral, it should be place on to very top like this:

I guess you can continue to break off the part of the coral that shad e the calm as you already have.

In the beginning the Tridacna was on the very top but since this Montipora was growing like crazy it soon began to shade the Tridacna.
So I decided to remove the clam from that position. The shaded part of the clam has lost its zooxanthellen but in the meantime it is fully recovered and is as beautiful as yours

truely amzing.

The blue or green TD are getting harder and harder to get as they are not imported from Solomons anymore.

Good sized specimen

Did you just get him? I love the spacing in his pattern. If he just retracted when you took the pic, I'd say he's fine.

Unarce - Samurai Champloo...I just got him, but he has more or less been like that the whole night. I think maximas don't expand fully in their first day due to shipping stress. If he continues to be like this, then i'll be very very upset...
