Not the most exciting colors, but this one has a nice pattern. He's about 7-8 inches, had him for 6 months. Upgraded tanks and moved all my livestock in two weeks ago. All the clams are doing fine.

One on the top left with the spots is a derasa. It is pretty crazy looking. Someone else on this forum has one identical to it.

new squammie

here is a really bad pic of my new squamosa. I am really irritated with my picture takeing skills on this one. The clam has lots of light blue in it.

once again sorry, I suck.

Talking My baby.....

Here is my "baby"... colors wouldn't photograph right, but it is a darker "hot pink" with flourescent blue/purple.. my daughter loves the colors.

Had this gem about 8 weeks now, and it is doing well. only 1 & 1/2" long (approx)! But doing just great. It is in a 10g nano, but will be upgraded to a much larger tank within the next couple of months. Baby does better when I feed marine snow or phyto a couple times per week, being this small.

and for size reference.. here is my baby, circled upper left.

After reading up on all the clam info on Reefcentral, I decided to take the plunge and bought two croceas. They are in my 65gallon until 250w MH and 285w VHOs.
