sand fleas?

the beach ALOT of these burrowing crabs and some fishy sites sells these crabs for a few bucks which is expensive... i was wondering is it safe to put it in my tank? they are filter feeders and scavengers just like the procelein crab.

i put them in my mantis tank for food some did live quite awhile but i dont know how long they would live in a regular reef setup they are constantly borrowing.
