Apogon leptacanthus (Threadfin Cardinals) thread

I was wondering what peoples experiences have been with these schooling fish. I have heard that they can be poor shippers, but hardy once situated. Does anyone know if it is better to get a school with even or odd numbers? I was thinking about getting around 5.

From what I have heard these are one of the only fish that can be kept in the aquarium that truly shoal, and I would like to find out some more information, pictures and experiences.

I have been told to keep them in seven or more. Above seven it doesn't matter even or odd numbers.
