Nice tank. I saw this same size at the store and fell in love now to save money for it. I wouldn't have fans pointing out from the tank, only blowing in. The air blowing away will be very full of humidity and will play ravoc on your fan parts and cause tons of rust. I did it and in only a few days I had a very noisy rusty fan. Several fans blowing from one side of the tank to outputs on the other is very effective at cooling. Good luck and keep us posted on the tank.

mmd the tank is only about 1 or 2 weeks old but the rock and all coral is out of my 75 which was setup for about 5 or 6 months. the anemone was the first addition besides fish to the tank. I havent had a problem out of it. here is a pic of it right now!

What are the dimensions of the 37? I've been looking at the 30 gallon cube to set up for my Daughters but never heard of the 37?

Hey TK,

You're the man of the house. You tell that woman that you need a sump, and whatever other equipment that makes you happy, and she will accept and love it. I started with a 24 gallon nano, expanded to two of them, just built a 75, and now she wants another tank to "balance the room!" Just deny her sex until she complies!

shekki..... I think i talked her into it... I just have to build a stand that will hide it. im thinking about building a stand that is oversized and goes all the way to the wall to allow enough room under the tank for a 20 gal sump and a 20 gal fuge. also maybe enough room for a auto top off. I just have to hide everything. the whole deal is that she doesnt want to see any hoses, pipes, or wires. If i can hide all of that i can have whatever i want.

I think i have came up with an idea. What do all of you think about using the stand from my 75. adding 2 2x4's for support across the center under the tank and a peice of plywood on the top to close in the stand. then i can run my sump/fuge from my 75 on the 37. all of the wires and pipes will be hidden so she cant B&*%# about it! lol The only thing im wondering is what size pump should i use? I want enough flow that i dont need any powerheads in the tank.

That's cool you have a fuge now! I have mine up with everything from my 20g high in it, excluding the sand. I am not going to reuse that old sand. It's not even half ful and I ghetto rigged a 2x4 stand for the light until I can make a canopy. I will take some pics and start a thread soon. Glad all is workin for ya

that Sump looks like its hanging over the edge of the stand ....I would cut a board of at least 3/4 "thick pywood to support it fully..

You might want to stop adding corals and take care of that algae problem. How old is the tank again? Also, I hope to god that scooter is eating prepared foods, otherwise I give him a month. Slow down.
