Question i just added 4.5 lbs of live rock to my 5.5 galllon, now what?

how long will the cycle take?
and i know it will be a while b4 i can add anything, but when can i add, clean up crew,fish,coral, ect ???

the time it takes for the tank to cycle depends on how cured your rocks are, it will take a while maybe a month or so

u will know when your cycle is over when your tests are zeros

snails and other cuc goes first for a while then fish then corals

how big is your tank?

He has a 5.5g. If the rock is fully cured the cycle may be very short. As mentioned, let the tests be your guide. I have the same size nano and love it. Enjoy!

i dont now how cured it is, but it was at my lfs, for awhile,
but i can wait, im gettin $$ for christmas

congrats on the nano tank, go check out the nano tank forums down here.
What are you planning on putting in that small of a tank? All clownfish get too big for a 5.5 gallon, and that size limits you to the smallest of the gobies, firefish, etc.
