refugium light,,,

just wonder how long do i have to leave the light on in refugium and why cheato in my refugium more like yeallow then green,,,i see alot of people have dart green cheato but mind is more light greeness and yellow looking,,i have the light on 24/7 and its 51k light bulb 75/watt outfut the light from melve website,,,
do i have to feed the cheato with something or change the light cycle? what should i do?? it seem to grow find just doesn't look healthy,,thanks

Shouldn't have to "feed" it anything. It is supported by extra nutrients already in the water from feeding, waste, etc.

You don't feed chaeto, it's there to remove excess nutrients.

Cut back your lighting. I know people say run a fuge 24/7 but plants need dark cycles too for optimum growth.
