Come on, did you really think I wasn't going to post more pics?! This is our fundraising booth for ARPH (Aussie Rescue). You can't see it here, but there is a LOT of stuff on there, homemade tugs, beds, cooling collars, aussie notecards, bandannas, and treats. (most of the stuff is homemade) the baskets have toys, and we were selling doggy ice cream. We made over 100$ in 3 hours in a tiny little town with almost no advertising for the event!

OK - both you and Dino have mentioned Doggie Ice Cream lately. What is it? Homemade? Where do you get it? Can I make it at home?

I'm feeling guilty that Scout is missing out on something really good!!!

Thanks,

Cheryl

it's homemade.

32 oz container of vanilla yogurt
2 Tbl peanut butter
2 Tbl honey
1 ripe bannana

blend. (I actually use my handmixer since I don't own a blender) pour into dixie cups and freeze over night. Don't be surprised if your dog goes into a ice cream coma while eating this. For some reason they just can't stop licking it, their eyes go closed and they are in another land!!

Emilye, you're the best. I have all these ingredients at home today, so I guess Scout is gonna get ice cream today.

Thanks so much!!!! I'll let you know how she likes it.

Cheryl

Shhhhh! Don't let it get out-you'll spoil my reputation! It makes quite a bit so you may need to share with some doggy neighbors!!

Thats what I forgot! Honey! I knew I left something out but couldn't remember what it was. Oh well...he eats it all the same. Harley really likes his though I have to keep telling him to put it back in the bowl. He likes to pack it up to the couch or behind the couch. Sometimes he has to fight the cat off of it .

Next time I make some I'm going to fill up his kongs with it.

how is that doggy icecream? Sounds like a frozen yogurt to me...

Now put some "other dogs butt" flavor in there - and now we're talkin.
