Nikon Coolpix 2500 Settings
Tried various scene settings, but the colors always seem a tad off.
Anyone know good aquarium shot settings for this camera, under various lighting conditions? Landscape seemed good, but won't autofocus. I also don't mind trying manual settings, but a tad out of my league at the moment. Thanks folks |

I assume you've used the macro setting?
Most cameras can shoot ok photos with just the auto settings and the macro. |

My brother owns this camera and I used to play around with it. I am not sure if the different shooting modes offers different white balance. If the auto white balance didn't take care of it the only way out is to photoshop as there is no setting for white balance. Are you using flash? Flash can make tank looks washed out and have a brownish/yellowish tinge.
This camera doesn't have manual feature. For shooting tank and everything else I simply use the auto mode, and macro mode when necessary. HTH. |
