Smile Post your actinic shots

I am a big fan of flourescence/actinic shots--both taking and seeing them. Please feel free to post yours here.

Thanks,
Kayla

Note - the only pic editing included auto-leveling and some sharpening. Any constructive criticism is more than welcome and would be greatly appreciated.

Here are mine. No where near as impressive as the ones above, but still neat, in my opinion.

We dont have many shots under the actinic lighting, but this weekend when I am home, I'll get some of my zoos, which glow pretty good, and a few of our mushrooms.

Kayla definately needs to be TOTM. Once I get my IceCap setup for my actinics, and get some coral, I will be able to contribute to this thread.

Thanks Tyler.

Great pics so far, but I know there are plenty more out there.

Does anyone leave their atinics on at night, would this be bad for fish/corals?

Other than low-wattage moonlights (which can sometimes stimulate spawning in fish and other animals), I would run your lights no more than 10-14 hours per day--including any actinics. Corals, like most animals, need periods of darkness for certain biological reactions. HTH

WOW! All of those are amazing pics! When I think of how great fluorescing corals look, GSPs defininitely come to mind. Buzz, I love your brain pic; the detail is unreal!

Awesome work everyone.
