Should I be concerned about this (with pics)?
There are some brownish blotches on my monti cap with little bits of what looks like brown algae. It doesnt look like the pics Ive seen of monti nudis because all the edges are healthy. It could be that I moved it about a month ago so areas that were shaded are now getting more light. Any idea? Sorry the pics kinda suck as this I have no idea how to use my macro lens yet...

ive had my caps act up like that when alk was low

hmmm, okay, I was just out of town 4 days, and the alk was low (about 7 dkh) when I returned, but was about 9 dkh when I left. Got it back up and will see if that solves it.

yup that will do it... happened to me the same way left town for a few days alk dropped into the 7s and i experienced a lil death on my idaho grape cap but since ive raised the alk back up and its fully recovered within a week
