Coris Wrasse Question
Is it common for a Red Coris Wrasse to completely disappear in the 2nd day after adding it to the tank?
I bought one yesterday, dropped him in after acclimation at around 6PM, and he wasted no time turning over small rubble, and eating tiny snails. A very active fish, to say the least! Now, this morning, I haven't seen him at all. Not once. Is this normal?

he is probably buried in the sandbed.... but also check to make sure he didn't jump out.

Nope, just found him in the afternoon, after I came back from running errands. Thanks, I was worried he might have croaked.

It only takes em like 2 seconds to get under the sand, one minute you see em the next you dont. Mine comes out to eat then goes right back under.

Do you find yours burrows in the same place every night, or will he go to different areas of the tank?

He's been in the same area. I look under the stand at the bottom of the tank and I can usually see a fin or something up against the bottom...lol
