do you think it's time to delete the sticky?

i have really mixed feelings. most people have gone back to their avatars and i'm glad to see that. i wonder though, do you think it's time to put the sticky to rest? i don't know...i go back there often and i read it but if there's a way i can "save" it so it's accessible to me any time i feel the need, i wonder if it's time.

i have no worries that gary will ever be forgotten here, at least not as long as i am a lounger because i wouldn't LET you forget so, what do ya think? there are occasional posts there and i try to answer them all eventually.

on one hand, it's kinda painful to see it there. on the other hand, if it's gone, i think it would mean (at least to me) that i have moved on in my grief and i'm not even close to doing that, last night was my first new year's eve without gary in 11 years and it was very hard. today isn't much better, we would be having chili and would have watched the parades this morning and gary would have had to listen to me go "ohhhh look at THAT horse!!! over and over and over again and he would have finally said to me "babe, they're ALL pretty."

help!

Nina,

You can "subscribe" to the thread (link at the bottom of the thread), and it will be on your "my RC" page. This will generate an email to you anytime anyone posts to the thread.

You can also go to the first page of the thread and save it as a "favorite" in Internet Explorer.

Let us know if/when you want us to remove the sticky. The thread will still be around, you (and everyone else) will just need to have a direct link (like those above) to find it.

Kevin
