Test Kit Not RIght?

I just checked my new saltwater that is mixing with a pump for my water change and the Ph is at 7.8 just like my tank.. So that is leaving me to wonder is my test kit accurate? Could I be dripping Kalk and have to high of a Ph and that is causing issues. I will take my water to LFS and have them test Ph.. The kit is Saltwater Master Liquid Test Kit by Aquarium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Which is my first test kit I guess I will be buying a Salifert Ph kit tomorrow.

I just tested my Kalk and that seems to register 8.7 PH.. So its not the test kit. I guess I just have to bump up the drip rate a little.
