My fish are not happy?
My fish are not happy. I recently added some fish from fellow reefer (about a month ago) and one didnt eat and I couldnt catch him until he couldnt swim. The end (or close to it) result is that i have lost a total of 10 fish so far. My Naso is looking the worst right now followed by the picaso. I would appreciate any help you can give. I have been on the fence of riping tank apart and putting remaining fish in QT. Not sure if the fish have better chance in bigger display or smaller QT with lower salinity.

Ps: The brown spots on yellow tang are on the glass. The sailfin shows now outward sides any problems.

Lots of hair algae indicates water parameter problems. What are you testing and how?

The sailfin looks good...but he is not happy...I have to do search on protozoa and see what i need to do....
The only new fish left is the yellow tang. I am not sure that ripping the tank apart to get the fish in QT is good idea at this point, as i would not know what to do after they are in QT except lower the salinity and dont think that would outweigh the stress of catching and smaller tank. |

The Sailfin looks pretty big in that pic. LOL I would try to keep the tank parameters as steady as possible right now; maybe slightly reducing your lighting schedule. If you have access to UV you might try running that as well and running some carbon.
