Water Flow for Acro

So I am pretty new to the SPS thing and have a question. Is to much water flow bad for an acro, i have one near the top of my tank and I added an additioanl power head that pushes about 1200 gph flow towards an arco about 12 incest away from it. Is that to much flow and to close to it?

That all depends upon how well dispersed and chaotic the flow is. The more concentrated and laminar, the worse it is going to be, even further away.
