What color do they come in?
What colors do bubble tip and sebae's come in? I saw a blue bubble tip one in a book that I want but haven't seen any stores sell them yet.

Sebaes are most often tan with purple tips,
but they are also sometimes tan with yellow tips, or pink with purple tips. Sebaes are often transparent white with purple tips in LFS, and those sebaes have lost their zooxantellae. I have seen blue long tentacle anemones(Macrodactyla doorensis) and blue carpet anemones(Stichodactyla sp), but I have never seen a blue BTA. I have seen Heteractis magnifica with a blue base, and they are occcasionally called bubble tip anemones, but most of us think of Entacmaea quadricolor when we hear the common name BTA. |

Do all bubble tip have different color tips from their body color?
Take a look below, the blue one is the one I'm looking for. Also, anyone know what that other one is? |

Tips can be a different color.
First is a Maroon in a BTA. Not sure on true colors, depth, flash, etc., all change the appearance. Not to mention, I'd imagine it would brown up significantly in most aquariums. fwiw: Maroon would likely change color quite a bit as well. Second is interesting and looks like either a survey or a picture of one in an aquarium due to the flash reflection. Have a source to both pictures?

They're both pictures out of a book that I used my digi cam to take a picture of, that's why you see the glare. That's how they look in the book. My question was about the anemone the maroon is in, not the maroon itself.
