How to change avatar?

I cant figure it out help. I want to put a custom one up.

click on the "MY RC" button and then the Edit Options link. Change Avatar is at the bottom.

I have gotten that far its trying to get a custom one up I cant figure out.

it won't let me do custom, i'm assuming because the help page says you need 100 posts to have a custom avatar.

26 more posts to go.

first you need to create a custom avatar of the proper size. Have you done that yet?

I do and it says its to large or to many pixels or something like that.

it's got to be 150 x 150 and less than 7 something kb.

Use something like irfanview to resize/crop your picture.
You might have to lower the picture quality in order to get it down to an acceptable size.
If you post the pic in this thread I'll try and do this for you real quick.

here's the resized pic.
place mouse cursor over it and left click.
save it (as is) to your PC hard drive picture file.
when going to the avatar page on RC make sure to browse to this pic on your hard drive and select it.
