I had a big one.. 7 inches and he snapped my thumb once...

Also killed a lot of my snails... seen the shells near his burrow.

He bit the dust when I did an interceptor treatment.

it came as a hitchhiker... I had two, and I sold one when I redid my 225 , but the other hid.

The one I sold was 7 inches and a big ugly green, nasty critter.

They do grow and get bigger.

I've had a pistol in my tank for a couple of years. Originally bought him to pair up with my yellow watchman, but sadly found out that I got the type of pistol shrimp that doesn't pair with any goby (the orange & purple one). Long story short, it had grown significantly in my tank and ate many snails, hermits, and even fishes.

I should have took a picture of it.

He was so big you could have eaten him.

Someone on reef central bought him for $15.

He may still have him. But he did snap my thumb once... freakin hurt.
