I finally got my skimmer its a dart NW made by ORCA www.protein-skimmer.com seems to be working well.Its a wet neck model.You can use it with or without the wetneck

How is the wet neck fed? Can you post some close up shots of the feed and the wet neck itself please. Have you tested it to see how it works? Whats the dimensions of the Skimmer?

That thing is huge! So your tank is 300g? I am looking for a decent skimmer for my 360g FOWLR, about 435g total volume. I didn't know octopus made a skimmer this big! What pump are you using with it? Model number for the skimmer? I am on a budget, if you don't mind me asking, how much for the skimmer and pump? What's the wattage on the pump? I am trying to keep the electrical bill down as low as possible! Thanks!

its not an octopus skimmer its made by ORCA witch is protein skimmers .com.The skimmer is around 4 ft tall.Its a monster.I have the skimmer fed by my dart return pump.The wet neck is fed by the same line.You could probably do a seperate feed line for the wet neck.I will take some pics and show you.I will also take another video.The skimmer is very nice.For the wet neck the water goes in the middle of the skimmer cup and goes over and fall down into the skimmer neck.I don't know if its enough water to clean the neck.I may feed it with a seperate pump.I will take close up pics.

I took some measurements the height of the skimmer is 40 1/2" this is from top to bottom.width is 12" this doesn't include the pump or plumbing.the cup is 12" x8" this doesn't include the neck to the flange.The neck is about 4" high I don't know how wide it is.
