Levels in Tank

I am pretty new to this still but I recently set up a 125 gollon tank for the purpose of starting a reef tank. Here are some of my levels just seeing if someone can give me some advice or guidance on what I should do.

Mag - 1470
salinity 1.026 (The local saltwater dealer said this is a good salinity not sure though)

Phosphate .4 ppm

alk 3.4

All the other levels in the tank are fine except those mentioned above.

The phosphates are high. The rest is perfect. Was the live rock from someone elses tank?

The LFS was correct. You may be lucky and have a knowledgable LFS.

As mentioned above you should really do something about the phosphate levels.
A phosban reactor will do wonders as will a refugium with macro algae in it.
Some people run both some just go with one or the other...

Also I'd look at slowly raising the alkalinity a bit.
Some where around 10dkh is ideal...

How old is the tank so far?
